Q: Are the Motorhomes fully insured?
A: Our Motorhomes are covered by comprehensive motor insurance; this applies to Europe (extra charge) as well. However it does not cover your personal belongings, so we recommend that you ensure you are covered by a personal insurance policy for your peace of mind.
Q: Why do you require a security deposit/bond of £500?
A: The security deposit/bond is refundable upon return of the Motorhome on time,undamaged,with a clean cooker/oven & interior & with the chemical toilet cassette cleaned & emptied. In the event of damage to our vehicle (internally or externally) the £500 or part of would go towards the repair. Should the repair be in excess of £500 towards our insurance excess. For any insurance claim or accidental damage (internally or externally) £500 is your maximum liability.
Q: What is the Collision Damage Waiver - CDW - & what does it cover?
A:The CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) is an optional payment that covers your £500.00 Security Bond/Deposit against any external vehicle damage caused by a road traffic accident,collision or incident, whether it is the fault of the named drivers or a third party. It also covers any form of vandalism or malicious damage to the vehicle including break-ins or attempted break-ins.Glass and Windscreen damage are also covered by the CDW. The CDW does not cover, Any internal damage to the motorhome, Fuel Contamination, Loss of keys, Tyre damage, AA/RAC call out's for jump starts due to hirer allowing the vehicle battery to run down.If you opt to pay the CDW the security deposit/bond is still required before your hire commences.
Q: Can we hire a Motorhome at any time of the year?
A: Yes we hire out all year round. All vehicles are equipped with dual fuel (gas & electric) heating which when hooked up to 230v mains power works in a similar way to a house central heating system.
Q: Is there a minimum hire period?
A: In low season we offer 2, 3 & 4 night breaks and turnaround days are flexible. In mid season you can take 3 or 4 night breaks during April, May & October and turnaround days are also flexible. In mid season during June & September we offer 3 & 4 nights where turnaround days are Fridays & Mondays. During the high season we take bookings for a minimum of 7 or 14 days and turnaround days are Fridays and Saturdays.
Q: How old are your Motorhomes?
A: Most of our vehicles are less than 3 years old.
Q: Can we holiday abroad with your Motorhomes?
A: Yes! We can arrange European Insurance cover for an additional cost of £65.00 per week. (subject to number of drivers and endorsements) Please Contact Us for further details.
Q: Are pets allowed in the Motorhomes?
A: Yes we are happy to allow pets in some of our Motorhomes by prior arrangement.
Q: Is the Motorhome fitted with a television?
A: Yes, 15” flat screen digital TV/DVD/CD/Radio Combi units are fitted as standard.
Q: Do the Motorhomes have seat belts fitted?
A: The Bessacarr E725 has 2 belted seats, the Carioca 200 has 4, the Sundance 590RS has 5 and the Carioca 656 and Sundance 630L both have 6.
Q: Do you allow smoking in your Motorhomes?
A: By law and for the comfort of all our customers smoking is not permitted in any of our motorhomes.
Q: How many drivers are permitted?
A: One driver is allowed within the hire charges. Upto 2 additional drivers can be added. 1 additional driver will cost £55.00 per week & 2 additional drivers £45.00 per week each (subject to any endorsements). All drivers must be over 25 and under 75 years of age. Drivers over 70 but under 75 years of age are subject to a loading please contact us for details. Drivers who passed their test after 1996 may be restricted on the weight of the motorhome they are permitted to drive, please telephone to check.
Q: Can I leave my vehicle on your premises?
A: Yes your vehicle can be left with us free of charge for the duration of your hire. This is entirely at owner's risk we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
Q: Do the Motorhomes have to be collected and returned at certain times and on specific days?
A: Yes - Our collection times are 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. and return times are between 9.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. These times can vary and we do our utmost to try and get you away as early as possible on your day of departure, but do ask that you return on time so that we can do the same for the next hirer. During low season vehicles can often be collected and returned at mid day.
Q: Would you be able to pick us up from an airport, ferry terminal or railway station?
A: Yes we can arrange for you to be picked up from Humberside, Leeds Bradford, Doncaster and East Midlands International airports or Hull, North Sea Ferry terminal. The nearest railway stations are Hull or Beverley, East Yorkshire.
Q: Do you provide kitchen and dining utensils?
A: Yes, Crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils are included. As is washing up liquid. Dish cloth, tea towel, kitchen roll, cleaning fluid & toilet roll.
Q: Is bedding supplied with the Motorhome?
A: Bedding can be supplied for overseas customers. Due to time constraints and laundry costs we ask UK residents to supply there own bedding.
