A high standard of holiday in the great outdoors

Drivers

All of our motorhomes can be driven on a standard category B car licence. Drivers must be over 25 and under 75 years of age and have held a full driving licence valid for the relevant vehicle for at least two years prior to the commencement of hire. If the driver has more than 6 penalty points they will need to check with the office regarding their insurance cost.

Front and back of driving license and 2 proofs of address (utility bills, credit card/bank statements) must be emailed to our office prior to collection. Please click here to see the full list of acceptable proofs for Driver Insurance Requirements.

Visitors from abroad must produce a valid unendorsed domestic driving licence or international driving permit.

Driver Safety

All of our Hire Fleet are fitted with a Tracker to monitor the vehicle and drivers behaviour. The motorhomes are also fitted with Dash Cams to aid our insurance company in the event of a collision.

Insurance

Fully comprehensive insurance for the use in the UK is included within the hire charge.

A £750.00 damage deposit/Bond is payable by card only at commencement of hire.

Hirers travelling abroad will require EU insurance cover which will be supplied by Yorkshire Motorhome Hire Limited at an additional cost to the hirer of £15.00 per day.

Reservations

To reserve a Motorhome you will need to choose the model that suits your needs and then either fill in the enquiry form on the website or call our office and we will book you in. A £250 deposit (per week) will be taken via debit or credit card to secure your hire. You will then be sent a booking confirmation with your balance details on. Please note your balance will be due 30 days before the start of your hire.

Cancellations

Should the hirer cancel the booking the company will endeavour to re-hire the motorhome. If successful the amount paid will be refunded less an administration charge of £50.00. However if re-hire is not successful the hirer will be liable for the deposit and any hire charges already paid.

Collection & Returns

Vehicles collection and return times will be organised when booking. Collection is usually between the hours of 11am and 5pm depending on how many turnarounds we have on the given day. Return is 10:30am unless otherwise arranged and confirmed on your booking confirmation. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the hirer being surcharged at the rate of £50.00 per hour. No refunds will be given for an early return of the vehicle.

Upon return the Company's representative will check the vehicle for damage and cleanliness. Failure to return the vehicle in a clean and presentable condition will incur an extra charge.

Liabilities

We accept no liability for replacement vehicle costs, travel or accommodation costs or any other consequential loss claims arising from motorhome breakdown. ALL accidents and any damage (no matter how minor must be reported immediately by telephone to Darryl Pickering 01482 887641/ 07791561142. This will enable us to order parts etc so that the vehicle can be repaired upon your return for the next hirer.

The hirer will be liable for all costs and expenses incurred for speeding, parking fines, congestion charges and for any other offences committed against the Road Traffic Act or traffic regulations.

Damage to windscreen, tyres and punctures are the responsibility of the hirer. You are required to check the condition of tyres and engine fluid levels on a daily basis.

Breakdown

In the unlikely event of a breakdown the AA/RAC emergency services are at the disposal of the hirer. The hirer is authorised to spend up to £100.00 on repairs, this will be repaid on submission of a valid receipt. For repairs costing more than £100.00 prior approval from Yorkshire Motorhome Hire Limited must be obtained.

Fuel & Gas

The level of the fuel gauge will be noted upon collection and the hirer is responsible for returning the vehicle with the fuel gauge at approximately the same point.

Two gas cylinders are supplied with at least one full, subsequent refills are the responsibility of the hirer who should ensure that refilled bottles are the same size and fitting and returned with the vehicle.

Animals

Some animals are permitted in certain vehicles by prior arrangement. Any damage incurred will be charged to the hirer in full.

Smoking

You are not permitted to smoke in our vehicles. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW.

Availabilty

Whilst we will make every effort to ensure that the reserved motorhome is available, if due to circumstances beyond our control this is not possible and an alternative suitable motorhome is not available our liability is limited to the refunds of all monies paid by you.

Agreement

By making a booking and paying a deposit the Customer/Hirer is entering into a contract with Yorkshire Motorhome Limited and agrees to abide by Yorkshire Motorhome Limited terms and conditions.
